Quaroutine

QUARANTINE STRATEGY

If you’re wondering when everything will get back to normal, we have an answer: no one knows. What does this meeaaaan! One word: Patience - it’s hard, boring and important.

#I Routine
By now you should have made up your own “quaroutine”, lol. Whatever is making you comfortable. Here are some suggestions: Waking up at the same hour, doing something that YOU find productive, working out if YOU feel like it, self-care, and then bed time. Set your own schedule and stick to it. Or not. Whatever.

#II Productivity

During this historic time it’s stupid to ask you to do anything other than what you feel like doing. Try not to be fooled by the social media productivity guilt. Everybody is dealing differently. There’s nothing wrong with learning new systems of efficiency, but at the end of the day, productivity is subjective. Uncover your own personal productivity methods. WEEEE have completed all the binge-worthy series on Netflix, lol. While gaining an extra 2 or 3 kilos. Ok 5. The only thing these love handles are handing is LOVE.

#II Peace

What brings you mental and inner peace? Do more of that. Where do you find calm energy? Surround yourself with that. Maybe yoga and meditation works for us maybe it doesn’t work for you. Find your own peace. Hint: faith.

#III Hope

How are you getting by? We are envisioning a better future and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Your crew, classes, facility and nail spa will be waiting. How are your cuticles doing? Yeah, same.

#IV Sleep

Some of us can’t control when we sleep or how well we sleep. Lavender might work? Melatonin? A funny show? Whatever. “Baby, how do you sleep when you lie to me? All that fear and all that pressure?” 🎶

#V Feels

Some days you’ll feel productive. Some days it won’t even matter. Some days you’ll feel healthy and energized. Some days you’ll feel weird and lethargic. But I know and you know that we can control the quality of our thoughts. I can’t think of anything else more worthy. Yes, it is hard for some of us to navigate through the whirlpool of our minds. For the rest of us who are adapting to this new normal; I pray we find our way back when all this is over.
