NIXYCLISTS
There are many do’s and don’ts in an indoor cycling class. Here’s a sum up for you including some tips in the end to get you riding at your best!
NIXYCLE KEEP UPS:
Keep adjusting your bike setup until you’re comfortable.
Keep checking your form in the mirror until you get it.
Keep controlling your hip movement by depending on your legs.
Keep pushing and pulling at a stable balance.
Keep pedaling with the cadence, tempo and beat.
Keep taking a break when you need it.
Keep breathing and stay hydrated.
Here are a few tips to get your performance polished through the ride:
DURING A RUN:
If you notice you’re getting tired too quickly, simply decrease some of the resistance and continue running.
Shift your weight to the seat instead of the handlebar.
Control your speed with the rhythm and tempo.
Find a running partner and pair up.
DURING A HILL:
If you’re not feeling a push and pull, you don’t have enough resistance.
Push with your heels down and pull your toes up.
Pedal with the beat.
Relax your upper body and use your lower body for full power.
In the end it all takes practice to progress. Results depend on the effort you put in. The more cycling classes you attend, the better you’ll find yourself and the greater you’ll feel at mastering the moves.
